The favorable environmental conditions presented in the cultivation cycle allowed obtaining high performances never achieved before in the region, similar to what happened in the rest of the wheat area of Argentina.
Normal values of solar radiation and mainly the effect of the moderated medium temperature (between 15ºC and 19ºC) marked the potential of the environment. This potential, caused by environmental factors, was expressed by the crops, due to the availability of rain water.
The development of the crops was very good, each phase of the development was not affected by high temperatures (frequent in the area), which cause a marked acceleration in the development.
The grain filling was extended up to 10 days, as compared to the same sowing date of previous years. The average zone performance, at the level of the producers, surpassed the 2000 kg/ha.
